Well it looks like SWV has formula of success for the release their 4th studio album “I Missed Us”. With over 15 years of experience, a hot single in “Co-Sign”, heavily produced album by Cainon Lamb (hit maker behind “Need U Bad” by Jazmine Sullivan & “Countdown” by Beyonce) and currently the only female R&B group out right now, SWV should feel really great about the upside on the release of this album.
It wasn’t too long ago where I first wrote about their return when they released “Co-Sign”. Now after hearing the whole album, I get a sense of an old school sound (sampled material) with a blend of up tempo mixes and the strong voices of the trio over 13 tracks. I was definitely not disappointed in this album at all. This CD has just been released and everybody is entitled to their own opinion, so I really don’t want togive you the full meat and potatoes of the album. But I will say this is a good appetizer of music to lead into the summer heat with.
