I’m baacckk! And this time with a movie review. I love to watch movies, but I really love to watch movies that keep me guessing. I decided to watch “Tyler Perry’s Tempation”. As the title suggests, it’s all about temptation. If you look up the movie here’s what the description will tell you: An explosive romance about the seductive dangers of the forbidden, this film tells the provocative and sensual story of Judith, an ambitious married woman whose obsessive passion for a handsome billionaire leads to betrayal, danger and a choice that will forever alter the course of her life.
Now here’s how I feel: A movie with a good message; but in typical Tyler Perry fashion, somewhat predictable, the movie had to last for over an hour so I guess some things had to be done. I always analyze things, so I was wondering to myself how the main character Judith (Jurnee Smollet) who is supposed to have a Master’s degree in some type of Psychology (her goal is to become a marriage counselor), is manipulated by a man she doesn’t really know. I was thinking to myself, you can’t be that easily played, but I guess there’s a few of us women out there. Judith is happily married to her husband Brice (Lance Gross) who truly loves her, but takes her for granted. Judith is tempted by the man/ business associate (Robbie Jones), merely because he’s everything her husband is not: rich, attentive, willing to stand up for her, willing to push her to reach her goals. Or so she thinks. What’s the old saying? “The grass isn’t always greener on the other side”. Or “All that glitters isn’t Gold”. The story unfolds into an ending you wouldn’t suspect, based on Judith’s actions. I’m not going to tell the whole movie, I have to save the real juicy stuff for you to see yourselves. It’s definitely a must see, it’s very relatable to real life. It’s a situation that goes on every day, and could happen to the best of us. What I really like about the movie is the underlying message of unconditional Love. Now have I tempted you to see it?! Enjoy!
