Fendi’s 90th-anniversary show is straight out of a fairy tale

In a show fit for Gods, Fendi models walked on water via Rome’s Fontana di Trevi.

Esteemed for its timeless designs, Fendi set the stage for it’s Fall 16 Couture Show atop the mythical waters of Fontana di Trevi.  Dishing out well over 2.2 million euro for its recent renovations, Karl Lagerfeld can etch this production in the books as a verifiable mythos.

Bestowed haute fourrure, the theme of the collection?  “Legends and Fairy Tales”.  With its rich Greco-Roman history, Trevi Fountain is the perfect backdrop for a magical mood.  Your favorite fashion faces included Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid resembling Fairies & Italian Renaissance Dolls; floating on a clear runway.  The beauties adorned dewy faces, flushed lips and doll baby-like hair with floral, fur and mythical patterned pieces.  Don’t be sad that you weren’t there.
