If anyone told you that one small individual cannot change the world, they are right. It takes a group of small passionate individuals that all share the same goal. The Kony 2012 campaign was started by Jason Russell, the co-founder of the non-profit organization Invisible Children. He was inspired by a Ugandan boy who was forced to watch his brother brutally murdered by the LRA (Lord’s Resistant Army’s) led by Joseph Kony. Kony is a war lord in Uganda that arrests children; making the boys child soldier and the girls sex slaves. Kony 2012 is a campaign that raises support to make him famous so he can be arrested.
