Monday a mile wide tornado tore through Oklahoma. It is being reported that at least 91 people have died; 21 of them being children and 145 injured people of which 70 are said to be children. On Monday, NBA superstar Kevin Durant didn’t hesitate to send out an American Red Cross donation link via to his 4million plus followers on twitter. Durant isn’t a stranger to being generous or realizing when assistance is needed. The superstar has been a spokesperson for the Washington, DC branch of P’Tones Records, a nationwide non-profit after-school music program. The American Red Cross announced today that Durant pledged $1 million for tornado relief through his family foundation. The Red Cross thanked Durant for his generosity.
