#22DaysVegan: Day 6 – Vegan Shrimp

Most of you that are in your 6th day of #22DaysVegan challenge that Jay-Z recently talked about are probably starting to think what did I get myself into?  Becoming a Vegan can be a real mental process; for one most people think that being vegan is just eating tasteless vegetables, fruit and tree bark.  But who said it can’t taste great; there are vegan substitutes for just about EVERY food that we know and love.   Sure that you thought you couldn’t eat shrimp anymore; well we have good news…

There is a vegan shrimp; it is 100% vegan, cruelty, egg and dairy free.  This shrimp can be broiled, boiled, baked, sautéed, scampi and even fried!  The most delicious ways to prepare this shrimp are: scampi served over rice/pasta or fried.  If you decide to fry it, there is even a vegan tarter-sauce.  Are you starting to think that being vegan is kind of cool after all.
