The very first Demiurge Awards show began as just one award, in which creative force “Kate Stoltz” was honored, well deserved and featured on this season of TLC’s hit reality show “Return To Amish“.

The word Demiurge originates from the latinized Greek word “demiourgos” meaning craftsman or artisan. Gradually the word evolved to indicate a creator. The Demiurge Awards pays special attention to the skillfully adapted; who create, produce and bring business to NYC through innovation.

The 2015 Demiurge Awards

Now in its 2nd annual installment; The Demiurge Awards is slated for September 30th 2015; with nominees in 5 categories including: Arts|Entertainment, Fashion|Design, Media|Online, Health & Beauty, Culinary|Spirits|Hospitality.

This years’ theme is Boundless Creativity and will be hosted by the boundless Cory Wade, who in fact was 2nd runner up America’s Next Top Model co-ed cycle.

The awards will kick-off with an exhibition for Zodin. Zodin is the perfect example of Boundless Creativity as it is the brainchild of El’ Gara-gayn Castel. The set of 113 cards were created by Gara-gayn and designed by Rivington Design House. Zodin was inspired by works left on the planet Earth which combines humanities’ plight with the planets’ need for spiritual awakening.

The SkinNYC

The SkinNYC, better translated as The Skinny NYC is an all-encompassing media source, providing New Yorkers with au courant news and original video content in local, world, entertainment, fashion, music, lifestyle, tech and health & beauty. The aim of The Skinny NYC is to become a dedicated media site and provide news across all platforms; fast, organic and undressed.  The SkinNYC is also a non-profit with various initiatives in which cater to disadvantaged youth with hopes of creating in NYC.
